Section 5 – Standard System Status and Controls
Dukane Manual Part No. 403-588-00
Lighted Power Indicator
This front panel lighted power indicator glows after the
rear panel AC power switch/circuit breaker is turned
ON:
On start-up, the light ashes RED for a few seconds, and
then turns steady GREEN. This indicates AC power has
activated the generator.
When the AC power switch is turned to the OFF position,
the front panel lighted power indicator goes out. This
indicates the generator no longer has power.
If a power fault occurs, the LED turns RED.
NOTE
Go to Section 6 - Operation, Start-up
Sequence for an explanation of the
generator start-up sequence.
CAUTION
If an alarm indicates there is an
overload fault, verify that the
ultrasonic stack is not damaged.
System Power Output Level
(Bar Graph)
A bar graph displays the percentage of ultrasonic power
being drawn by the load. See Figure 5-7 to the right.
Bar Graph Power Scaling
Power scaling is related to amplitude. At 100% amplitude
the whole graph is lit, and the generator is operating at
100% power. At 50% amplitude the entire graph is lit,
and the generator is operating at 50% power.
If the amplitude setting is lowered, the graph rescales
automatically according to the revised amplitude.
Example: With a 1200W generator, at 50% amplitude, if
the whole graph is lit, that represents 600W.
